Welcome to La Hoot Bakery
I’m Amy Husted, owner and operator of La Hoot Bakery. I fell in love with the crafting of cakes and cake pops in 2012. I then ran La Hoot for three successful years until 2015 when I pressed pause to put all of my efforts into building Komae, a tech startup that brings the babysitting co-op into the 21st century by putting it into a modern day app.
While Komae is still growing strong and remains my #1 priority, I’ve decided to reignite my cake pop hobby and re-open La Hoot starting in November of 2018.
In an effort to bring you the best products and still retain my sanity as a wife, mother and entrepreneur, I will not be offering custom cakes and cupcakes, but will remain focused on custom cake pops with an emphasis on Friday Features and Holiday Specials.
